بعد إيقاف نشر القصص تحت علامة Vertigo، أعلنت شركة DC Comics اليوم خلال معرض NYCC عن عودة قصص Vertigo بعد خمسة سنوات من التوقف، تم الإعلان أيضا عن عشرة قصص ستكون ثمانية منها جديدة.
سيبدأ إصدار قصص DC Vertigo الجديد في فبراير 2026، حيث تتصدره سلسلة The Nice House by the Sea #7 التي ستصدر في 4 فبراير. يليها إصدار Bleeding Hearts #1 في 11 فبراير، ثم End of Life #1 في 18 فبراير، وأخيرًا The Peril of the Brutal Dark #1 في 25 فبراير، على أن تصدر باقي عناوين Vertigo الجديدة تباعًا خلال عام 2026.
حسب اعلان الشركة، وعدت كل سلسلة بتقديم قصص جريئة تتحدى الأنماط التقليدية وتكسر حدود الأنواع الأدبية، تمامًا كما جعلت Vertigo أسطورة في عالم القصص المصوّرة، مؤكدةً عودتها كمأوى للقصص التي ترفض أن تنحصر في القوالب المعتادة، كما هو الحال مع إرث Vertigo التاريخي، فإن الخط الجديد سيركز على قصص يملكها المؤلفون أنفسهم (Creator-Owned) والتي تكسر القوالب التقليدية وتتحدى المألوف.
